Old Baronial Stone

Old Baronial Stone Available in random sizes

History:

From Tudor times the best floors in Great Britain and France were flagged with stone. This material was sourced locally and laid either in brick-bond random lengths or in random sizes. To remember this era we have produced a range of antiqued flagstones in sympathy with those famous floors.

Colours / Texture:

  • Provence Flagstones – a mixture of buff, brown tones with a hint of lime.
  • Cotswold Flagstones – golden sandy shades.
  • York Flagstones – muddy green and moss grey tones.
  • London Flagstones – light to mid grey tones.
  • Georgian Flagstones – buff coloured floor with salmon pink veining.

Character:

Very popular in traditional, period and country properties. This tile is designed for use in kitchens and other hard wearing areas.

Points to note:

  1. It is best to bed this terracotta in sand and cement as tile thickness is a nominal figure.

Usage: Interiors and exteriors.
