Quarried since Roman times in north and western Provence, the stone was used to build the famous aqueduct known as the Pont du Gard.

  1. A precise tile thickness cannot be guaranteed. It is therefore best to lay this material on a thick sand and cement bed. Do not attempt to lay this floor with a thin bed adhesive.
  2. If a greater allowance is made for wastage then Antique Blond Barr can be laid in coursed lengths provided too that the services of a good tiler are employed.
