Ground floor gets Shortland transformation

Shortland interiors have recently undertaken the ground floor refurbishment of a home in Peterborough. The project included all building works plumbing and electrics, the installation of wooden and stone floors with underfloor heating, rustic oak beams and full interior design throughout. Rooms included a dance studio, cinema room, formal sitting room, link room, utility room, cloakroom, office, lobby, and large open-plan kitchen dining and sitting area.

Our clients felt their home had always lacked that cosy warm feeling. By making the kitchen the center of the house we introduced a TV area, with a large open gas ribbon fireplace. Coupled with comfy sofas and dimable lighting this room is perfect for whiling away those long snowy winter days.
