Shortland are thrilled to announce the opening of our first ever ‘Show House’ nestled within the picturesque market town of Oakham in Rutland.

‘Mowbray Lodge’ a striking detached Georgian house set in the heart of the town will contain a diverse range of stunning bespoke displays within its rabbit warren of rooms. Due to open in the autumn of 2006, the property will be an exclusive showcase of our designer’s and craftsmen talent and will highlight the significance of the high quality materials and the painstaking workmanship that lie behind every Shortland bespoke interior.

When Grant and Jane Shortland viewed the Lodge earlier in the year they could immediately visualise the buildings potential desperately wanting to breathe fresh life into the tired looking rooms and create some dream schemes inspired by the Shortland touch.

Currently undergoing extensive renovation the building is set to be the epitome of english elegance and will be a great addition to our existing showrooms in Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire.
